For years, our ancestors preserved food by placing it in jars and heating them until they became sterilized or “retorted”. New technology has allowed us to package and sterilize food in both flexible stand up and pillow pouches. Many other parts of the world already package in flexible packaging versus metal cans. Places such as Australia, New Zealand, most of Asia and many parts of Europe are taking advantage of this innovative, customer friendly packaging alternative. Products
Select Brands offers many different food products produced with the latest advances in processing and packaging technologies. We produce food products that are ready to eat and shelf stable requiring no refrigeration or freezing. In addition, we are capable of packaging raw and dry products or product blends and mixes in innovative packaging offerings. These packages can be stored on grocery shelves from 12 months to as long as three years, depending on the specific packaging chosen. Our facility is both FDA and USDA approved. We offer Organic as well as non-GMO processing/packaging capabilities to our partners. With our in-house development team we can specifically formulate recipes to fit your exact needs. Whether they be custom formulated food products or shelf stable national brand equivalents, our flexibility gives our customers the products they want in the pouch sizes they desire.
